Maintenance Programs / MSG-3 for Out-of Production Aircraft

Aircraft maintenance philosophies have progressed over the years from preventative replacement or restoration (Hard-Time) to on-condition and condition monitoring to the enhanced Maintenance Steering Group (MSG) 3 methodologies. Essentially, if a functional failure of a particular system demonstrated no effect on the operational safety of the aircraft, nor were economical repercussions significant, there was no need for routine maintenance activity. Flight crew failure reporting during normal operations serves as the initiation of system rectification.

Centurion AMS has developed effective and efficient aircraft maintenance programs that utilize the latest MSG-3 data and inspection processes. Our programs take full advantage of the zonal/area inspection concept by integrating Corrosion Prevention and Control Program and Structural Inspection requirements as well as Aging Aircraft and Supplemental Structural Inspection tasks. As a result, repetitive open-up and out-of-phase inspections have been eliminated increasing productivity and lowering maintenance costs. Depending on aircraft configuration, maintenance labor savings can range from 10% to 30% with additional decreases anticipated in aircraft downtime and unscheduled maintenance man-hours.

Supporting our programs is the Centurion AMS work card system designed with the repair station in mind. Job phasing, detailed instructions, zonal/area inspections and maintenance manual referencing have been combined to streamline production saving time and money where it counts most: on the hangar floor. Our work card system guides maintenance personnel through each step of the way, from start to finish, in an understandable and informative format.
The Centurion AMS aircraft maintenance program and work card system is the tool you need to lower maintenance costs, reduce out-of-service activities and increase systems reliability.
