At Centurion Aircraft Maintenance Services we respect your right to privacy and we understand that, as a visitor to centurionams.com, you may voluntarily provide us with personal information in the form of an online contact submission, email link, phone, fax, or postal mail. In addition, existing or new customers may provide personal information for the purpose of gaining a username and password for access to designated secure pages. We will protect the personal information you provide to us with the utmost care and protection in order to ensure your privacy. Beyond its representatives and affiliates, Centurion AMS does not and will not offer or allow the selling of any user-provided information to third parties. When you provide Centurion AMS with your name, company name, call sign, aircraft registration, e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number, and or fax number and you do not “opt out”, by sending us an email or postal mail request, Centurion AMS and Centurion AMS representatives and affiliates may use the provided information to alert you of our existing, current, and new products and services, special offers, and updated information. If you are a visitor or prospective customer by visiting our website and providing us with the aforementioned information, you grant Centurion AMS the permission to contact you by phone, fax, and or internet and postal mail. Centurion AMS respects the rights visitors and users give us when opting to receive phone, fax, e-mail, and or postal mail communications and enforces internal policies to preserve those rights. It is our objective to retain the long-term ability to continue to communicate with our visitors, users, and future users. If you do not want Centurion AMS or Centurion AMS representatives to contact you, you may “opt out” at any time, whether you're contacting Centurion AMS by phone, fax, postal mail, and or through the internet. To opt out simply phone, fax, or write us through postal, or email. You will always have the option to opt back in and have Centurion AMS contact you. If you choose not to register or provide personal information, you can still visit most of the Centurion AMS website; however, you will not have access to areas that require personal identification.
Centurion AMS Customer Area and the Use of Log Files. Centurion AMS offers our customers a secure private web area in order to view and report maintenance activity on their aircraft. In order to establish membership, customers are requested to provide both personal information and preferences. This information is stored and protected by your user-established Username and Password. Within the customer area are several links that link to other pages. In order to access these pages, Centurion AMS has to store your Username and Password so you can access different pages of the customer area. This allows you to navigate from page to page within your customer area without having to log in at each page. The log-in information is stored until you explicitly log out. Centurion AMS remembers you by placing a log file that contains only enough information to identify you upon entering your personal area. A log “file” is a small line of text that is stored with your web browser for record-keeping purposes. No information, other than that found in the log-in cookie, will be accessed by any Centurion AMS system. Access to your membership information always requires both your Username and Password. Centurion AMS also utilizes visitor log files and hosted tracking with our website. Once a visitor enters our site, a cookie follows them through their click stream path. Examples of information being collected by these cookies and the hosted tracking include the number of times a visitor came to our site, and the paths they took to get there. Centurion AMS uses the information collected from website visitor log files and hosted tracking in aggregate form only and does not collect any personally identifiable information. The file only collects IP Address, Location, Internet Service Provider, and Browser Type. Use of this information helps us better understand what visitors are seeking and learning at our website and helps us identify potential browser and navigation issues. |
