becomes effective July 15, 2011 and applies to B727, B727C, B727-100, B727-100C, B727-200 and B727-200F series airplanes.
This AD requires the installation of double shielded fuel quantity indicating system (FQIS) wire bundles, a revision to the Maintenance Program by incorporating 28-AWL-18 and 28-AWL-19 within 60 months after July 15, 2011 and repetitive inspections of the fuselage skin.

01/26/2011 AD 2011-02-05
becomes effective March 1, 2011 and applies to B727 series airplanes. This AD requires inspections of the fuselage skin for scribe lines at skin lap joints, skin butt joints, around external approved repairs, external features and fairings, and at locations where external decals may have been cut.
Initial Scribe Line Inspections for Zone 1
For aircraft with more than 60,000 total flight cycles as of March 1, 2011 the initial scribe line inspections for Zone 1 are due within 6 months after March 1, 2011. For aircraft with more than 45,000 total flight cycles but no more than 60,000 total flight cycles as of March 1, 2011 the initial scribe line inspections for Zone 1 are due within 12 months after March 1, 2011. For aircraft with 45,000 or less total flight cycles as of March 1, 2011 the initial scribe line inspections for Zone 1 are due within 24 months after March 1, 2011 or before 30,000 total flight cycles, whichever occurs later. If a crack is found at a scribe line in Zone 1, the inspections for Zone 2 must be accomplished before further flight.

For aircraft with more than 60,000 total flight cycles as of March 1, 2011 the initial scribe line inspections for Zone 2 are due within 12 months after March 1, 2011. For aircraft with more than 45,000 total flight cycles but no more than 60,000 total flight cycles as of March 1, 2011 the initial scribe line inspections for Zone 2 are due within 24 months after March 1, 2011. For aircraft with 45,000 or less total flight cycles as of March 1, 2011 the initial scribe line inspections for Zone 2 are due within 36 months after March 1, 2011 or before 45,000 total flight cycles, whichever occurs later. If a crack is found at a scribe line in Zone 2, the inspections for Zone 3 must be accomplished before further flight.

For aircraft with 60,000 or less total flight cycles as of March 1, 2011 the initial scribe line inspections for Zone 3 are due within 36 months after March 1, 2011 or before 60,000 total flight cycles, whichever occurs later.

01/24/2011 AD 2011-01-05
becomes effective February 14, 2011 and applies to B727 series airplanes. This AD requires repetitive inspections of the BS 1183 aft pressure bulkhead web. The initial inspection is due within 3,500 cycles after February 14, 2011. Repetitive inspections are not to exceed 6,000 cycles. We have updated AD Status Reports to include this AD.....
02/22/2010 AD 2010-04-16
becomes effective march 8, 2010. It requires an inspection for and removal of certain portable Halon 1211 fire extinguishers manufactured by SICLI within 90 days from March 8, 2010. Each operator needs to send us a Notification of Maintenance Activity showing compliance with AD 2010-04-16. We have updated and will post new AD Status Reports to include this AD
